When it comes to creating good habits that last, I, David Zetts, have never put any of my clients on a strict DIET or MEAL PLAN because I know how hard (and nearly impossible) those things are to stick with long term, especially for referees who are on the road a ton during the season. Research has shown that nearly everyone who “goes on a diet” or gets started on a meal plan will see decent results initially, however, weeks after they go-off the diet or stop their meal plan, they end up in a much worse situation when it comes to their results and overall wellbeing. For that reason, I do not recommend going on a diet. That being said, if you’re absolutely dying to try the newest diet fad, all I ask is that you run it by me first so I either talk you out of it OR, at the very least, we can come up with an appropriate plan together for stopping said diet or meal plan to help you maintain your results in a safe and effective way.
